Will Jedvaj get tinned by Arsenal for £7 Million ?

For those who don’t know what we talking about, Tin Jedvaj is touted to be the next big thing in Croatian Football after Modric who plays for Real Madrid at this very young age. He is rated as one of the brightest stars from Dinamo Zagreb academy who just graduated last season and has already made about 13 first team appearances. He has come into news after his clients claimed a couple of days back tat Arsenal and Milan are trying to sign this strong and technical center back.

His rrepresentative also mentioned that ‘Roma offered £5 million for Tin, but that was rejected by his club.’ And now the hope is that he could be landed for £7M . The reports also point out that Wenger is believed to be personally pushing for this deal as we are looking to land a new defender after the release of Squillaci earlier this month and a possible departure of Djourou. Hopefully with the release of some of the deadwood there would be extra money to be spend.

We were also linked to getting Swansea skipper Ashley William at the start of the transfer window , who would be a ready made first team option. However Wenger seems not in the mood to match Ashely’s valuation which is about £10M and so would probably look to Jedvaj as a long term option.

Jedvaj,17, has already been called up to train with the national squad and many are predicting him to make a debut soon for the national team as the World cup qualifications are in a big spot following some disappointing performances and also the loss to Scotland last month.

We all know that Wenger has eye for good talent and over the years have got a lot of them however most of our transfers have been done silently and never discussed before it is actually done . So we got to wait and watch to see if this actually goes through and if we will spend a lot of money on a 17 year old talent.
