Arsenal welcome QPR to the Emirates on Saturday. The Gunners have not manage to win since they’ve been back from the international break and would be looking for a win against QPR who have had a poor start themselves.
The last time these two sides met it finished 2-1 to QPR. The game was played away at Loftus Road but when they met at the Emirates, the gunners manage to grind out a 1-0 win.
Probable Starting XI
Mannone will continue in goal since Szczesny won’t be returning from his injury. He has not managed to keep a clean sheet since Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Liverpool.
In defence Vermaelen and Mertesacker would continue their partnership in the centre of defence keeping Laurent Koscielny on the bench. Santos will probably stay at left back despite a poor performance against Shalke and Jenkinson would continue to impress down the right hand side.
In the middle of the park, Coquelin and Arteta would continue against the Rangers with Santi Cazorla ahead of them who would try to tear the opposition defence apart.
Up front, Gervinho would shift to the right allowing Giroud to start up front with Podolski on the left.
The Gunners should get three points from this as they need to climb up the table and considering that their next EPL match is against ManUtd.
